
General Health Assessment
1) How many solid hours of sleep do you get per night?
A healthy amount is 7-8 hours per night.
2) How many ounces of water do you drink per day?
Aim to drink 1 liter per 50 lbs of body weight per day depending on your activity level. If you are overweight, aim to drink a gallon of water per day.
3) How many days per week do you get 30+ minutes of exercise?
A healthy goal is 30 minutes five days per week.
4) Which do you consume regularly?
Dairy, Coffee, Wheat/Gluten, Sugar.
Circle all that apply and choose one to eliminate for 30 days.
5) How many toxic products are currently in your home?
Audit your home, and commit to removing as many as possible.
6) How stable are your emotions?
Are you more stable or do you have more extreme responses such as crying a lot or fits of anger?
7) What color is your urine?
Pale or transparent yellow is normal. Dark yellow, brown, or foamy is unhealthy. Bright florescent yellow is often excess vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and is fine.
8) How many bowel movements per day and its texture consistency?
1-3 bowel movements per day is healthy. It should be either a smooth snake-like texture or a sausage shape with some cracks or lumps on the surface.
9) How often do you get a cold, flu, or sore throat per year?
Strong immune systems will have 1-2 per year. Weak immune systems may have 6+.
10) Do you have stiff muscles or joints?
Mobility issues can be felt as general stiffness and tenderness to actual pain. Please consult your physician if you are experiencing chronic pain.
11) When you breathe normally, does your chest or belly rise and fall?
Adults tend to take short chest breaths. A healthier, more oxygenating breath is to breathe long and deep with your abdomen and belly rising and falling.
12) Do you sit for extended periods of time each day?
Set an alarm to get up and walk around for 1-2 minutes every 30-45 minutes to stimulate your lymph.
